How It Works/Timeline

The deadline for applications is February 15th. or sooner if all spots in the hunt are filled we will close applications. The application will no longer be availible if we do close them earlier, and the homepage will indicate that they are closed! All dates/times will always be in SLT!

There are 100 spots available in Fall 2016 Twisted Hunt. Applicants will be reviewed in order, and the first 100 applicants to qualify will be awarded these spots. That said, it does sometimes happen that a store is a maybe, and will be notified later then the order they applied in. This usually happens if the store has been problematic repeatedly in past hunts or is a new store that we are unsure of.

Important Dates

Until Applications Close (it takes approximately 24 to 48 hours to review each application however, early in the process we sometimes take longer to catch up to the initial rush) until completed:

The merchant accepted/rejected mailings will go out. (These go out in batches, please be patient, there are 3 organizers who have to check every store!) Every application we receive will be responded to with either a welcome pack or a denial notecard(unless we can not notify you because we were only given a display name, in which case, we automatically decline these applications). We use a mailer that checks online status and only mails when you are online. That said, if you are online but AFK, crash, or set busy mode (Busy mode is NOT the same as autoresponse) you may lose the inventory offer. The mailer does also give a message in local chat. If you see such a message but did not get the inventory please feel free to contact Rox Arten for redelivery. If you have not heard anything back within a week fo applying (10 days with applications put in in the first day or two of applications opening) feel free to send an IM to Rox asking to be sure both that we got the application and ensure that you didn't miss the delivery. We do reply to EVERY application, and will also indicate on the site homepage when applicaitons are closed and all merchants have been notified. If you do not wish to IM before that, but see the homepage has indicated that, please contact Rox Arten for redelviery. A note on declined applications, it's not personal and we hope that you will not take it as if it is. The most common reasons for declined applications can be avoided by checking the rules and requirements prior to applying, however, most common issues among those are landing point, not having enough items, or infringing content usually.

February 23:

Final merchant packages are delivered. The final merchant package contains the hunt boxes. Additionally, this package will include the gachas. As we have had many change their mind after the application we now deliver these to all merchants so anyone who decides to do one even part way through the month has them available! Please take notice of this date, we have sent packages earlier a couple of times and in every case it ends up causing more issues and more work. People move unexpectedly and once the package with the cubes is sent to a merchant we have no way to verify a LM change additioanlly up until this is sent any store that needs to drop out for whatever reason (let's face it RL happens and usually whithout warning) we can avoid having a gap in the numbering. While everything else in the packages can be prepped early, because of the fluid nature of SL,

February 28:

Gifts must be in the main hunt boxes by midnight. Hunt starts at 12:01 tomorrow morning!

March 1:

The hunt begins!

April 1:

Merchants may take their hunt boxes up today; the hunt is over, and a great time was had by all. =)

As a note, for those curious, applications for the next event will open approximately 2 weeks after the end of the prior event! That means for Spring Hunts applications open approximately Jan 18, the Summer Sales they open approximately April 14, for Fall Hunts they open approximately July 14th, and for Krissmuss applications open approximately October 14th. Additionally we are now announcing the next theme and color when applications close each event. While applications closing is a bit less predictable those announcements will be done both in the news section on this site and the group notices so by the time each hunt or event starts you can be sure that the theme and color of the next one will be in the news section of this site!

Any issues, comments, or suggestions should be forwarded to Rox Arten in Secondlife either via instant message or notecard directly or can be added to the mailbox at Headquarters.
